After the festive month, there are still lots of events in Hong Kong. Cultural lovers must satisfy with CATS while family can have their fun time at The Great European Carnival!

1. Hong Kong Marathon 2018

The Hong Kong’s largest outdoor sporting event takes runners past some of the best urban scenery. The fierce competition is just as exciting for spectators as it is for runners, with the 42.195 km full marathon starting in the scenic Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon, racing up into the New Territories and heading back down to a spectacular finish in Victoria Park on Hong Kong Island. You can go along and show your support to the runners in this mega sport event.

2. The Great European Carnival

Takes place between December and February on the Central Harbourfront Event Space, the carnival includes amusement rides and carnival skill games for all ages, and is set before one of the most iconic skylines in the world. This year, the carnival will feature The Great Circus of Europe to bring on even more fun and laughter.

3. Miles upon Miles: World heritage along the Silk Road

This exhibition focusses on Silk Road’s Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor which spans four Mainland Chinese provinces (Shaanxi, Henan, Gansu and Xinjiang), Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, which aims at illustrating the historical and cultural significance of this Routes Network. Over 200 items/sets of the cultural relics include jadeware, textiles, sancai figurines, gold and silverware, bronze ware and large-scale murals illustrating the historical and cultural significance of the Routes Network. The exhibition will also be complemented by multimedia programmes and interactive elements to enrich visitors' learning experience.

4. CATS (Musical)

Following its triumphant season in London’s West End, the acclaimed revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical CATS comes to Hong Kong for a strictly limited season. CATS, one of the greatest musicals of all time, is one of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history. CATS has enchanted more than 81 million people in over 300 cities around the world, winning numerous awards including Olivier and Tony awards for Best Musical.
