Xiqu Centre
Being the first landmark venue that located in West Kowloon Cultural District, Xiqu Centre's design was inspired from the concept of traditional Chinese lanterns and blends traditional and contemporary elements to reflect the evolving nature of the art form. The building has a total area of 28,164 sq m and houses a Grand Theatre, accommodating 1,073 seats, a Tea House Theatre, with a capacity of up to 200 seats, a seminar hall as well as an open atrium for exhibitions, stalls, and xiqu demonstrations. The design details of the facilities have been created in response to the practical requirements and aesthetic features of the art form. It take about 17 minutes from The Cityview to Xiqu Centre.
